Rainy days

I'm still not doing so good on the exercise, but I am eating healthier and I've cut down on the Dr. Peppers.  I did loose 1 pound last week!

My first two weeks

I did good the first 3 days of the year, but I've done too well since :(  I did get out and run (walk mostly) I did 1.54 miles in 30 minutes.  I still have 51 weeks left lol

2012

I know it's been awhile since I've been on here and it was a long 2011!  I'm starting a 12 week program to get in shape and loose weight.  Most of the weight will disappear a day or two after I'm put back on the right dose of thyroid medicine.  I've been feeling depressed the past couple of months because my family Dr decreased the amount of thyroid medicine I was taking.  As a result I became so depressed in October and even more so in November that I was put on anti-depressants.  Since the depression is a side effect of hypothyroidism the anti-depressant has given me constant headaches and bad migraines  I was give a pain medicine for the chronic headaches I wake up with and a different medicine to take when my migraines start.  As a result, I'm going to the ENT this week who did my surgery 8 1/2 years ago and hopefully he can recommend an endocrinologist who will take not only the bloodwork results into effect, but how my body uses the thyroid medicine I have to take daily.   I'll try to update this once a week or so.

I have set the following goals for myself for 2012.....
  1. Develope a Bible based diet during my personal daily Quiet Time  to help with my eating & snacking
  2. Cut out caffinated beverages within the first 12 weeks of the year and then soft drink altogether after 24 weeks-after 24 weeks one or two soft drinks a week will be ok if I want one
  3. By the end of 2012 I will eat at fast food places (Burger King, Pizza Hut, similar local places) once a week 
  4. Begin an exercise program and develope it to the point that I will be able to change routines due to weather or other time conflicts, but still workout six days a week
  5. Eat healthy at restaurants when I do eat out
